Notes of a Crocodile (2024) and ping pong ping pong ping pong ping pong ping pong (2024) are streaming online on Mubi and Criterion, respectively. I fully support Filmworkers for Palestine in demanding Mubi take accountability for their ties to Sequoia Capital.
In December and January, I completed a 6-week residency at MacDowell in Peterborough, NH. I was working on a script with support from the Hubert Bals Fund, the Media City Chrysalis Fellowship, and Canada Council for the Arts.
Last July, I took photos at a 50 year reunion of immigrant mother activists who organized a boycott for educational equity in Boston Chinatown. The portraits will be installed in Chin Park on the Greenway in early February.

My friend and actor Lai Yuqing passed away on January 2, 2026 in Phnom Penh. In her honor, here is the teaser for the feature length we were working on, an extension of Notes of a Crocodile (2024).
